Photography has always been important to me. I never realized 'how' important until I was sorting through photos to display for my mom's funeral. I noticed how much time she spent BEHIND the camera and how little she spent in front of it. It was not just when my brother and I were born, but for her own wedding day as well. I was disappointed at first to find this out, as my mother was a beautiful person; but it inspired me at the same time. I knew what I wanted to do -- she showed me the most cherished way to document one's life.

A photo session to me is more than just the images you take home and hang on your wall -- it is a connection with your fiancé, your family, your child, even yourself that builds with every snap of the camera. It is a documentation of where you have been, where you are and where you are going. It is about you, your life, your story - and I'm just lucky enough to be able to capture that for you.
