When Shelly contacted me back in November for some snow photos I was really excited. I knew Shelly from back in high school and I knew that she had a beautiful little girl Maia. After having to reschedule 2 times due to weather we finally got together this afternoon before the storm moved it. I believe it was well worth the wait! Maia was a natural - she defiantly stole the show! I loved Shelly's idea of starting in the library before we ventured outside to get some snow shots. I had such a great time working with the three of them today and I can't wait to get back to editing the rest of their session - but I just had to leave a few images here for them to see!

Wow! I haven't blogged in a really long, long time! But I’m hoping to get all caught up here in the next few weeks and I have a ton of surprises up my sleeve to unveil to you guys really soon! Here is a little taste of what is coming up in the next few months.
1) I’ve got 3 trade shows coming up that I am going to be participating in - I’d love it for all friends old and new to take some time to stop by and say hello and to check out some of the really cool new products that I am offering for 2009!:
Birth Choices Baby Shower - March 14th
Fort McMurray Spring Trade Show - May 8-10
Fort McMurray Women’s Show - May 22-34
2) I’ve just ordered a ton of new products. Really large prints for all of your beautiful images, new albums that I cannot wait to showcase, and one really knockout print product that is so top secret I won’t even blog about it until its showcased at the trade shows. Trust me this is something that everyone should have displayed in their home - truly an amazing way to mount your most prized session images. I’ve also got some really neat slideshows, some great announcement card designs - just a whole bunch of things that I am really proud of.
3) I’ve been networking with an amazing bunch of award winning photographers to help me take my photography to the next level. I am so happy with the results and cannot wait to try out some of the new ideas that I’ve been kicking around. While I’ve always had a huge passion for engagement and wedding images - I’ve been blessed to be able to expand on my family, maternity, and newborn skills and have begun to appreciate them more than I ever have. I am forever finding new inspiration and I learn something new everyday!
4) I’m in the process of solidifying my brand and working to get a new blogsite released sometime in May. This new site will be a true reflection of who I am and how I shoot. It will combine both of my blog and my website in an easy to navigate site that contains both. If there is anything you'd like to see on the site please message me and let me know - after all this site is for all you clients out there (old and new) and I want to make it the best experience possible! Also please give me feedback when its up and if you’d like to be on my mailing list to be one of the first to check it out send me an email to leslie@lesliebrownphotography.ca
5) I’m also taking bookings for March -June with some blackout dates. Whether you need family, maternity, newborn or engagement photos my Lifestyle sessions have you covered. Inquire about some new special offers that I am sure will be a huge hit. I am also booking for wedding as well and have added a beautiful leather album to the package. It defiantly needs to be seen to be appreciated!
Well I think that just about covers it! I can’t leave you without a few photos - so here are some that I snapped while we were vacationing in Negril, Jamaica. It was so beautiful there we cannot wait to go back - I would highly recommend it to everyone that loves to travel.
XOXO
Leslie

We'll here we are - the day we call Christmas Eve. What a wonderful year 2008 has been. I have alot to be thankful for - wonderful friends, a beautiful family, and being blessed with finding my true passion - photography. It is not without all of your kind works and inspiration that this has all happened. I would like to take this time to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. I am taking a bit of a break from Christmas day until the end of January to get caught up on some much needed rest and business paperwork. Stay tuned - I will still be updating the blog with some sessions I have yet to post - and have a lot in store for 2009. Stay tuned before the end of the year for an amazing contest announcement that could win you or someone dear to you a great gift! See you all in 2009.
Leslie
I know I've previously posted this image - but to me it really represents Christmas - so I had to post it again!
